Napoletana coffee maker steel 1-2 cups Ilsa
Born in Southern Italy where it is also known as "a cuccumella", the NEAPOLITAN COFFEE POT is an emblem of Italian tradition
Description
Preparing a coffee with the Neapolitan is a ritual to be followed with care, a ritual that has become a true symbol of hospitality and conviviality. This model is made of 18/10 stainless steel. The coffee obtained with the Neapolitan coffee maker is characterized by an intensely aromatic taste and a light body. The ideal grind for this process is medium/coarse, not fine as for common Moka-type coffee makers. The Neapolitan coffee maker is composed of a water tank (equipped with a handle), a filter unit composed in turn of the "shirt" and the filter cover, a container equipped with a spout and handle and finally a lid. Operation is very simple, the water is poured into the tank up to about half a cm from the small hole (located on the tank); the ground coffee is placed in the "shirt" to which the filter cover is then screwed. Carefully insert and fit the entire filter assembly into the water tank. Lastly, fit the collection tank, bringing the two handles into alignment. The release of steam from the small hole will indicate when the water has reached boiling. After rotating the coffee maker, the water will drop drop by drop and will "percolate" on the coffee which will collect in the tank with the spout. The percolation time is approximately 5/6 minutes after which it will be possible to remove the filter unit and the water tank, place the lid and then serve the coffee.
