Description
There are projects and companies that give importance to those who work, especially in places where unfortunately we still have absolute gender disparity and a lot of exploitation today. Identified with the name of "Women's Coffee Project", these coffees are produced by companies run only by women who promote gender equality in those places where, for example, education is not always guaranteed to girls and access to healthcare appears like a mirage. From a community founded by 22 women, a project of social and environmental sustainability and protection of women's work was born in the mountain region of San Alberto in Colombia. Located more than 8 hours away from the nearest city, the village has no access to chemical fertilizers and everything needed for the crops is of natural origin. Together, a full-bodied coffee is born, with notes of cocoa and a slight acidity of candied apricots and peaches, while notes of custard and butter biscuits give it a very intense and persistent sweetness in the aftertaste.
