An innovative tool dedicated to the Professional Barista and the Coffee Lover which guarantees perfect distribution of the ground coffee in the filter. Evenly distributed coffee is essential to avoid the "Channeling" phenomenon. This phenomenon is created when our coffee cake is not well distributed or well compacted or perfectly flat, the water that comes out at a certain pressure from our coffee machine, finding "preferential routes", will follow those paths, creating an extraction irregularity of our coffee and therefore a non-uniform extraction in the cup, with an uneven result, with different extraction levels which could give our coffee a bitter, burnt taste, excessive acidity and therefore a certainly unsuccessful coffee. The Metallurgica Motta leveler is made up of two parts, one black which rests perfectly on the edge of the filter and the other in steel (similar to a fan) which when rotates promises to perfectly distribute the coffee in the filter before pressing. It is adjustable in height to be used with any filter and dose. Entirely "made in Italy" by Motta, it can be adjusted in height to adapt to filters of different capacities and different doses.
