Description

In Yirgacheffe Woreda, Warasa Iyaso owns a 14-hectare plantation and runs a washing station with his family. The plants grow sheltered by banana trees which, thanks to their large leaves, partially protect them from direct sun.

The coffee is stripped and fermented in tanks for 24-36 hours before being washed and left to dry on raised beds. 

Organoleptic profiles:

In espresso we have an olfactory impact that reveals floral hints of rose and lemon balm. Rich acidity reminiscent of bergamot and pink grapefruit. In the finish sweet notes of candied ginger and orange blossom. 

In the filter it expresses a flowery fragrance of rose and lemon balm. The citrus and spicy notes are reminiscent of pink grapefruit and candied ginger.
