Description

A more unique than rare coffee that has a very limited agricultural production. Since 1994 this agricultural company has operated without the addition of pesticides or fertilizers of synthetic origin, ensuring sustainable production. Women in Nepal often live in rural areas with their children and elderly people, while men have to go to big cities to find work. This coffee company employs many of these women. The plantation, located on the slopes of the Himalayan mountains between 800 and 1000 meters above sea level, is irrigated with water coming directly from high-altitude glaciers. These circumstances give this coffee a great aromatic structure that is very well balanced. We appreciate a fine note of cocoa with caramelized citrus peel, a hint of gentian and mountain herbs. Persistent in the aftertaste we find the initial cocoa combined with balsamic notes.
