Located in Carmo da Mata, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, Fazenda Vila Boa represents one of the most prestigious realities in the Brazilian specialty coffee scene.

Run by Monica Borges and her husband for over 36 years, the farm covers 378 hectares and benefits from an ideal altitude, between 900 and 1,200 meters above sea level, for growing high-quality coffee. Sustainability is the beating heart of Fazenda Vila Boa's philosophy. Thanks to innovative agricultural practices, such as the planting of native forests and the optimization of distances between plants, the fazenda is certified carbon neutral, managing to completely offset CO2 emissions. This initiative not only reduces the environmental impact, but increases the yield and quality of the coffee produced.

Monica Borges de Sousa, who inherited the farm in 1988, transformed this family business into a model of excellence, combining tradition and innovation. In addition to cultivating several varieties of coffee, including Yellow Bourbon and Yellow Catuai, the farm stands out for its use of advanced techniques such as natural fermentation with yeasts and anaerobic fermentation. In addition to producing excellent coffee, Fazenda Vila Boa is committed to environmental conservation and local development. The farm dedicates 1,000 hectares to forests and protected areas, promoting biodiversity and absorbing more CO2 than is produced during agricultural activities.

This approach has made Fazenda Vila Boa a reference for sustainability in the coffee sector. If you are looking for a coffee that combines superior quality and respect for the environment, Fazenda Vila Boa's Yellow Catuai is an extraordinary choice. The dedication to quality and sustainability of Monica Borges and her team has made this fazenda a milestone in the world of specialty coffee.
